Cape Breton Santa Albert by the Fibre Frog

Albert is 20" (51cm) tall.

All textile dolls are uniquely personally hand-crafted by Toronto-area artist Chantal Coulombe AKA the Fibre Frog.

The skin tone effects are realized by tea and rust dying techniques with both new and up-cycled fabrics. 

All dolls are machine and hand stitched to reveal their unique personalities. Each is then embellished with handmade beads, vintage buttons, metal clasps, leather, ribbon, yarn, and hand embroidery.

All dolls are filled with new/clean polyester fill and recycled fabrics. 

Take a peek in the pocket where you might find a little “nugget”- it could be a shell, a message in a bottle, a special stone/crystal, or even one of my handcrafted ceramic medallions. 

All dolls are made from the artist's original designs and patterns. 

Each doll is handled with care and attention to details, creating an heirloom piece sure to last for generations to come. 

A certificate of authenticity is included.
